Prizer KOA

Prizer Point Campgrounds

Nice place overall, except for the camper next to us that has a leaky water hose, I mean really…

The grounds are surrounded by the lake, most sites have some sort of water view. Was somewhat surprised to find they only have one permanent site left. But they did leave the best sites for renters. I think this will be on the revisit list, though maybe in the fall.

First Camping Trip of 2016!

Camping at Prizer Point KOA: Seemed like it took more the 7 hours to get here, but it was still an interesting trip. We found early on that we had no trailer brakes, but with a heavy car like the suburban it helped keep things under control. However, the last 15 miles were filled with lots of hills and curves, which made for a white knuckle drive in the end.

Morning is clear with a nice view out the camper.
